Pork Spare Ribs

These spare ribs are easy to make and are so delicious. I add the sesame seeds to mine.

It's a wonderful taste to add.


400g (1 lb) Pork Spare ribs

2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce

2 tbsp Honey

2 tbsp Garlic powder

1 tbsp Ground Ginger

1 tbsp Cummin

2 tbsp Brown Sugar

1/3 cup Sesame Seeds (optional)



Remove the membrane from the back side of the ribs

Salt lightly, both sides of the ribs

Mix the soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger,

cummin and brown sugar

Stir until blended well


Place the ribs into an oven safe dish, pour the soy sauce mixture

Ensure that the ribs are well coated.

Allow to marinate in the mixture for 2 hours

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees (180 C)

Bake for 60 - 75 minutes

When done, add sesame seeds if desired

Slice to include two of the ribs per serving.
